Veterans Day Ceremony

Nov. 6, 2016

A Salute to the Veterans took place on November 6th in the City of Beachwood.  The Ceremony was a collaboration between the City and the Beachwood Historical Society.  The Ceremony began with the Beachwood Color Guard and the Mayor.  John Carroll Univeristy's Wolfpack Battalion ROTC and Boy Scout Troop 620 also helped in honoring our Veterans.  Four speakers shared their stories on how they protected our country.  The Ceremony took place in our Beachwood Cemetery, the final resting place of veterans from seven wars as far back as the Revolutionary War.

We must all remember that Freedom is not free.  Take time to honor the noble and the brave.  When you see a Veteran, be sure to thank them.
