MEETING OF THE MINDS

On Saturday, April 5th, the Beachwood Historical Society and the City collaborated in the hosting of a consortium of all of the Historical Societies located in Northern Ohio.  Eastlake, Mayfield Village, Solon, Geauga, Moreland Hills, Chesterland and Beachwood were just some of the many Societies in attendance.  The “Meeting of the Minds” as it was titled was a great way to share and learn about the history of Ohio.  It was very exciting to hear about the history of the different cities.

The visitors enjoyed strolling through Beachwood Historical Society’s Photo Gallery located in City Hall.  This gallery highlights Beachwood of the past when it was still a village called Beechwood.  They also viewed the Historical Society’s display of vintage wedding dresses.  All of the cities that were represented really enjoyed their day in the City of Beachwood.
