During the Victoria Era, small bouquets of flowers were given as a means of communication. These floral arrangements sometimes called Tussie-Mussies or Posies were used to send coded messages based on the flowers used and the flower's colors.
Unlike the Victorian Era where children were to be seen and not heard, the Beachwood Historical Society will provide a creative event where children can express their creativity and take home a gift perfect for Mother's Day (if they can wait that long to show off their special creations.)
