ALL RISE!  PRESIDENTIAL TOUR!

On Saturday, June 4th the Beachwood Historical Society collaborated with Solon
and Moreland Hills Historical Societies!  All three Historical Societies designed a special day of history.  The main theme centered around Presidents of the United States.  Ohio is the mother to many of the Presidents.  President Garfield is from our area.  The Tour started at Lake View Cemetery for a tour of Garfield's final resting place.

The Bus then took us to the Solon Historical Society.  Pres. Garfield used to preach in this Church that is now the home for Solon's history.

The final stop was Garfield's log cabin located in Moreland Hills.  Pres. and Mrs. Garfield greeted us on our tour.
