Upperclassman Luncheon:  Accident or Arson?

The Beachwood Historical Society collaborated with the City's Community Services for a special Luncheon and Presentation.
Archaeologists Beth Hoag of Tri -C and Mallory Haas of Cleveland State University shared their findings about the Rockefeller Dig.
The Dig is taking place in East Cleveland.  Rockefeller's Summer Home burned down mysteriously in 1917.  Was it Arson or an Accident?
Over 150 participants learned all about Rockefeller.  The Dig continues during the Summer of 2013.

Luncheon-April 26th
Arson or Accident?  Rockefeller's wife had recently passed away.  He was already in New York.  He owned his own insurance company.  The Cleveland Hts. and East Cleveland Fire Dept. were called in to help save this lovely 55 room mansion.  Maybe someday the mystery will be solved.
